As a President, Julie organizes and takes part to events, identifies partnership opportunities and cultivates strong relationships to develop ORAJe outreach.
Julie is system and engine control engineer at Safran Aircraft Engines. She is working on the whole engine system lifecycle: her main activities are related to design, test, verification and in-flight events monitoring in order to ensure technical and economic performances required for operation.
Prior to joining Safran Aircraft Engines, Julie made her end-of-study project in ATR Propulsion Department. She also made an internship for AAA on the A380 Final Assembly Line in Toulouse where she was the head of a lean project linked to optimization of various processes.
Julie holds a master’s degree from ESTACA where she specialized in Propulsion Mechanical Engineering. She is also following an international program in Corporate Finance from HEC Paris in order to complete her multidisciplinary profile.
Julie has always been fascinated by aeronautics. She started to flight at the age of 14 and obtain her private pilot license at 17. Travelling is also one of her passions; she likes discovering new countries, new cultures and different way of thinking.
In May 2017, Etienne Bobin was appointed to the Board of ORAJe as Vice President.
Etienne joined Safran Aircraft Engines in July 2016 as mechanical engineer on the LEAP – Controls & Accesorie CoE. In June 2017, he was named Technical Leader to manage the new engine developments including supplier’s relation relative to the LEAP Kit Engine design office service.
Etienne acquired his initial experience at Europropulsion Kourou (European Space Center) working on Ariane 5 Boosters igniters. Then, he joined Airbus Defence and Space where he made pyrotechnical tests for the submarine-launched ballistic missile M51, deployed with the French Navy. In 2015, he made his end-of-study internship within Airbus Toulouse where he studied industrialization though the deployment and monitoring of means of production for the A350XWB among Europe.
In 2015, he was finalist of the USAIRE Student Awards and got involved in the association (website, communication and events). In 2016 he became member of the Armée de l’Air citizen reserve force and also taught aeronautics courses in high school (BIA).

His double degree ESTACA-ENSMA Master in Structure aerospace gave him some keys to understand the technical issues with the new Aircrafts generation using advanced materials. As concerned by the climate change, he followed the Airbus chair and got the certificate at ISAE-Supaero Engineering school for "Aircrafts and environment".
In 2013, he was involved in the lean manufacturing development for equipment of the A350XWB wings, production, with Airbus Bremen. Then, in 2014, he accomplished an internship with Latécoère Aeroservice practicing maintenance on narrow-body aircrafts. After these two internships, he decided to spread his passion with his schoolmates and took part of the aeronautical association, at ESTACA, as treasurer. In 2015, with Marie Petrequin, they have been awarded by Tom Enders thanks to their first prize of the USAIRE Students Award. The same year, he achieved an experience in physical integration management for A350XWB in Hamburg. The contest 2015 permits him to visit Rolls-Royce plant in Singapore, this was one of its best experience with ORAJe.
